Lens Polarization

Just a quick refresher, Mirrored lenses in, and of themselves alone, are NOT polarized lenses. DO not be mistaken on this critical aspect of lens coatings.

When you see mirrored lenses, they may, or may not be polarized. All the mirror coating on the front of the lens does, is provide an extra measure of privacy. It does not provide glare reducing properties.

A polarized lens has a coating on the back side of the lens which absorbs reflective light and passes on the image in front of you, with less light(glare) distortion.

Our lenses are polarized and can help to reduce glare and distortion from reflected surfaces.
